Yeah, I'm still working on it, albeit very slowly.

Full-time employment, 1 wife, 3 kids and a dog make it hard. My deadline was self-imposed as I thought that would help me get it done, but it didn't take into consideration real-life issues.

there's file in the program folder called "btruser.dat" which contains your entry for access to the game. he will have his own as well. if this file is lost or deleted you will lose access, though its not a big deal for me ...

correct. once a pilot is assigned to a unit he's there till he dies. We don't have a tour of duty or a reassignment option. If the roster is full then returning pilots just increase the organisational size of the unit, but not the combat size.

lol. yeah, they're saved to registry, so it sticks across games.

normally it only does this if you don't prepare the turn properly first (end phase) but then you can still open it... so I'm not sure.
