Mouse speed??

I just purchased the game, I had the old one, and I am have a bit of a problem. How can I change the mouse speed, scrolling the map? Every time I move the mouse the map goes up max or down max or right or left max?? I do realize I have to move the mouse to the edge of the screen, but when I do I get max scrolling! I tried going to the control panel and changing it there but no joy. I didn't see anything in the options. I don't remember the original game having this problem. It almost makes the game unplayable, very annoying.

You bought a gem...
Have you selected 'Lock current preferences for all games' at the bottom-right of
the options screen? Maybe can help, I've never have problem with this.

D'oh!! There is a map scroll button on the options screen so never mind!! [8|] If it would have had teeth it would have bit me.

lol. yeah, they're saved to registry, so it sticks across games.

CAPT CLIFF - Photo#1 YES, a very annoying problem for sure!! Try these settings before diving/exploring into the .ini files Well, try these screens to go by, I wrote it down in long-hand (somewhere) but that was always a bit too tricky

Photo #2, I may come back and verbally explain, but I think the photos will be very helpful....and, yes it is very tricky to remember this bit of fine tuning, but it is necessary to theperformance of the Gameplay as designed...
