Re: Display bug in Surrender settings

Sorry. Yes, I am aware of that display glitch and I've been trying to track it down. Most always you can just reload the turn and it's fine again. I've only seen the blanks, but seeing text there maybe I can track that down. If you or anyone have a reloaded turn that consistently reproduces this ...

Display bug in Surrender settings

In this case I'll just let the picture speak for itself.

This is the case in for all countries. Prior to this it started coming up blank in the conditions column. The checkbox was there, but the conditions were all blank.

No worries, we all started learning this game and this particular computer interface at one point. Most of the basics are relatively simple to grasp, but there are many deeper nuances that take time to master. I recommend you and others review "Suggestions for new players" at https://www ...

Re: Units at war in the same space will not engage.

not being given the option to besiege

There's no 'option' given. The player must select a unit and then click the "Move Unit Into/Out Of City" button to besiege. I did this with the French units at Ulm and Venice. Units besieging a city have a black box in the top left of the counter. This is ...

Re: Units at war in the same space will not engage.

Bill

I'm having a similar issue, but it's with the newly installed 1.25.03.

Armies not attacking each other isn't the problem in this case. An army moving into an area during the land movement phase and not being given the option to besiege is.

I've had 2 armies sitting on top of enemy garissons ...

Bill

I found the 1.25.03 update and got it setup, then tried the save again and this time there was no problem.

I'll let you know if it crops back up or if something else similar happens.

Thank you

Re: 3/4's of Napoleon's army disappears after British Navy attacks the port of Marseille

Bill

Yes I do have a game save right at the reinforcement phase. It's the following phase where things go wonky.

Yes the British were blockading Marseille. But, I replaced that save several times and not every single time did the british attack Marseille during the naval phase.

The Last update I ...

3/4's of Napoleon's army disappears after British Navy attacks the port of Marseille

As the subject says. I have moved 1 infantry corps, 1 artillery corps, 1 guard corps to just north of Parma to declare war on it. During the naval phase of the following turn, the british navy attacks Marseille.

Current disposition of French Army units is as follows:

RE: What does this mean/what does it do?

<t> Thank you for the suggestions and tips Gents. It's much appreciated. I forgot how much I really did enjoy this game. Now that I have a bit more time to play, I'm going to learn as much as I can about the ins and outs. Anyone have any suggestions on GOOD tutorials? I still think there are things ...

What does this mean/what does it do?

<r> I have looked the manual over, done extensive google searches, but nowhere can I find what the Yes and No means on the port screen. The black arrows point at what I'm referring to. Maybe these 61 year old eyes aren't as sharp as I thought they were.<br/>

RE: Remain on station constantly switches back automatically at the end of each turn

The Ammo was the very first thing I checked, it was ful. The TF was supposed to have air cover from another nearby TF, but no idea if that happened or not. The Patrol idea I'll have to try as so far no TF has retired once put on that order.
Thanks for your responses Gents.
