RE: Great game!!

<r> I have to agree, this is a whole different experience compared to the other major prop sims. I must have only got 3 or 4 kills today just messing around in the "Instant Action" but I can already see that this is a keeper. The flight model (damn it's hard to take off in the spit!), the gunnery ...

Download version questions

<t> Thinking of buying this one as I missed it when it was on the shelves here. My questions concern the download version...<br/>
<br/>
1) Will the download version accept patches just like the regular retail versions? and any user mods if any exist for this sim? I ask this because in the past I ...

RE: Wishlist thread

1) I'd like to see damage to ships cause a larger reduction in speed, right now as it is damage seems to do very little.

2) More randomization of starting conditions.

I caught up with the japanese transports in the Midway scenario after slaughtering the jap flattops like a wolf among sheep [:D] but found the same thing happening with them continuing to break contact even though their speed was only 10 kt vs my 33 kts.... [:@]

<t> Thanks for the rapid response, post war stuff would of course be pure fantasy.&nbsp; I only bring up the point concerning fire power levels because of the large difference in armaments. For example if the F4U Corsair is rated at a 6 and it is armed with 6 X .50 mgs what rating would you give a ...

RE: Music

It's a pretty standard file format, look in the music folder they are in ogg format. Do a google search for "audacity" it's a free music editor with a converter and you'll be set. Just convert the wav files or mp3's and dump them in the music folder.
