I don't like being the "bad guys"...

<r> Ok. This is a slightly odd post, I admit. Anyway, I've been playing COTA a bit recently and just the other day I noticed something weird about my play style.<br/>
<br/>
Firstly, I'm really not a wargamer. I have no real history with the genre at all. And I normally lose. So when I pick up COTA ...

RE: Great game, some small suggestions

<t> Yeah, as you say it would be fairly easy to make a 3D representation, but the gaming aspect of it is what would take time. RE: Great game, some small suggestions

<t> Oooh... 3D!<br/>

RE: Wishlist for changes/fixes addressed in a future patch?

I haven't played the game for a few months, not since working on it in the Christmas break, but from memory if you hold down Shift while clicking the various buttons they will go to the previous option (much in the way described in wish 7)

RE: A very, very minor issue

<t> Sadly this is my legacy bug&nbsp;[:(] From memory, saving the settings was the last thing I worked on before I went back to uni, and I didn't quite catch all the bugs before I left (although I thought I had)<br/>

I've stepped through that code a number of times. I'm not really sure why ...

RE: Beta Bulge Bash : the AAR

<t> I feel that, in the interest of the game being released sometime, I should remind you of the difficulty encountered when we tried messing with the credits photos while I was there [:'(]<br/>
<br/>
Nice work on getting it done by the way [:)] Hopefully you'll have finished your much deserved ...

RE: COME ON!

<t> It's not quite as simple as just dumping the game out there.<br/>
<br/>
The fact that there's an out of sync bug indicates that there is something screwy going on in the underlying game mechanics, because the Out of Sync bug is raised when a checksum value is inconsistant. Hence there's ...

J/K, it's all good. I'm loving this job.<br/>

RE: Supported resolutions

Don't do that, it'll count as UI work instead of AI work and if I'm still around it'll probably be dumped on me [:(]
