RE: Blurred text in window

<r> Dear Theages,<br/>
<br/>
many thanks for your hint regarding the correct .exe file and not to run "autorun.exe". In addition, I also included in the WITP-AE shortcut -dd_sw (see also: <URL url="http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/upfiles/9/2699985C2242484198A784994B37650D.pdf"><LINK_TEXT text ...

RE: Blurred text in window

Also a roll-back of the ATI Radeon HD 4800 driver did not solve the problem; it must be something else. Next I will install WITP-AE from scratch.

Thanks for all your efforts.

RE: Blurred text in window

Dear Jim,

thanks for your effort but also the "-f" in front of the screen resolution didn't help.

Cheers,

RE: Blurred text in window

There was also an update of the

ATI Technologies Inc. - Display - ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series driver.

However, I do not know any further details and the device seems to work properly.

"H:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\autorun.exe" -skipVideo -deepColor -dd_sw -px1920 -py1200 -cpu4 -archive -autosave<br/>

When starting WITP-AE everything works fine and other processes, too, show no strange behaviour.<br/>
<br/>
Is there any idea ...

RE: Providing support to land forces

Thanks for your reply! I indeed meant "supply". According to your suggestions I will push more supply to the closest base.

Providing support to land forces

<r> How can a provide support to land forces located on a hex which is <B><s></s>not<e></e></B> a base? More in detail: In summer 1942 there are lots of allied units on such hexagons being in contact with Japanese forces, especially in China, which have a serious lack of supply and, hence ...

RE: All-out attack

<t> Many thanks for your reply. <br/>
<br/>
In my annoying case there is large amount of supply available at the base (Batavia in February 1942) , sufficient aviation support, no or only weak airfield damage etc. However, multiple missions may cause such a frustrating behaviour - I have to check ...

Everything is clear - I changed the troops to "Strategic Move" and now it is possible to load them. However, the procedure will need two full days. Thanks a lot for your quick reply.

Not in a stratetic mode

<t> Hi,<br/>
<br/>
I try to load a ground unit (114 USN Base Force) at Luganville in the Guadalcanal campaign using AKs as transports. Although I changed the troup's attachment to "South Pacific" (the same HQ as for my Guadalcanal troops), it is not possible to load them since they are "Not in a ...

RE: Erroneous reports in Version 1.804

Yes indeed, your explanation makes sense. But the fact remains, one ship was sunk whether this was Mogami or any other vessel.

RE: Erroneous reports in Version 1.804

Yes, you are correct; I play agaiinst the Japaneses. However, does it make sense to hide the result for a while although the ship was sunk during the battle?

Erroneous reports in Version 1.804

<r> My present version of WitP is 1.804 and I got the following Combat Report which mentions that "Mogami" has been sunk. However, this report stays in contradiction with the "Intelligence Report" which notes that <B><s></s>no<e></e></B> Japanes ships were sent to the bottom of the sea.<br ...
