I prefer to buy from Matrix/Slitherine over Steam BUT it seems only Steam has 20% discount if one has the other 2 titles.
Is there any way over this? I have both serials & Steam keys for CMBS & CMSF2

RE: Patch 1.00.03

<t> Don't think I've ever been asked for firewall permission & it doesn't stop any of the updaters from updating themselves but never updating their purpose.<br/>
I'll give it a go next time however. Where ever I can I purchase from Matrix & hope for a Steam release, where automatic updates are the ...

RE: Serial Number error issue

<t> I believe I have found out something, perhaps inconclusive, about this issue. Deleting the file winmm.dll from the dxwnd directory stops the error message.(ie the game runs)<br/>
Further tests/research pending.<br/>
(Edit):<br/>
A different version of winmm.dll works - in my case a 146Kb ...

RE: Wrong Pricing Shown

I might add that at the current exchange rate the price should indicate $AU56.07 , not $AU47.99

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>I'm sorry you are having problems with this. However this is due to the PayPal price being charged in USD, so as a result they do a currency conversion using their own rates, which are different from our own. However this is shown on the PayPal page when you are completing ...

Wrong Pricing Shown

<t> Wanted to advise that your pricing, when shown in Australian dollars, is way out. Just purchased "World in Flames".<br/>
It is currently discounted to $US39.99 & it is shown that it will cost me $AU47.99.<br/>
In fact it cost me $AU58.28.<br/>
That is a rather large discrepancy, don't you ...

OK, I guess I know when to give in. Didn't seem that hard a question, though, and it was mentioned that it would be fixed.

<t> The saving ink is what I'm after.<br/>
There's still a file called "Operational Art of War manual TO PRINT.pdf" in the steam folder, the same as in the original Matrix install folder & it's still as useless as the original install. This leads me to conclusion that "soon to be fixed" comment ...

I too cannot access Manual to Print PDF on either my desktop or laptop (separate install downloads) on any of several pdf readers.
It seems the file is corrupt. One of my readers says "Error - PDF structure Library. Invalid reference table (xref)

RE: windows 10 compatibility testing

Both machines use avast. I have the idea that it's down to disk size i.e. over what a 32 bit machine normally 'sees' and the problem arises.
Haven't tested this yet due to too much to do. No time for the finer things in life just now.
