RE: VPNFL Max Style

Did you set the depth charts for both teams, and that there are players assigned to each position in each playbook formations? It appears that there's no one assigned to the positions.

RE: VPNFL Max Style

That should have worked if you were only using two teams. What actually occurs when you try to play a quick game?

RE: [UTILITY] Max FB Database Editor v 1.4.1

Not to sound like a broken record, but I got another "Run-time 3315 error". This time it's "Field 'Players. Sound' cannot be zero-length string". Everything was working fine until this happened.

You have to assign a playbook to teams you want to use first.

RE: [UTILITY] Max FB Database Editor v 1.3

I was able to correct that error. Now, it's displaying the error:

"Field 'Players.LeaguePlayed' cannot be a zero-length string."

RE: [UTILITY] Max FB Database Editor v 1.3

JD,

In the attached file, here is an error I received when I tried to save the database after editing the name of a rookie player.

Never mind. I just had to reinstall it. I got everything now. Thanks again for creating it (the editor).

RE: Player Editor

Good work JD, but I don't see where "Junior Football team" is located on the editor. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the information. It doesn't effect gameplay, so I can play around it.

Has anyone else have this problem?

<r> I don't know if this was covered before, but when I play the game on my laptop, the uniforms look like this. My laptop is Compaq Presario 2500, and my graphic card is a ATI Radeon IGP 345M.<br/>

Any info is appreciated.<br/>

RE: Turning Draft feature off?

<r> This might be more good news. I was able to not only bypass the Draft, but Training Camp as well. Depending on the method you use to access a league's database (i.e. lge_NFL.mdb or whatever you name you used), you'll need to edit the following fields in the <B><s>[b]</s>League_SeasonStatus<e>[/b ...

RE: Patch 1.39 problems

I found that you have to make sure that all of the positions in the depth cart are filled. If you're playing a CPU vs CPU game, you'll have to do it before you start the game.

Fumble recovery yards deducted from offensive stats.

<t> After playing several Quick Play CPU vs CPU games, I noticed that if the team on offense fumbles the ball to the other team, whatever yards are gained on the fumble return are deducted from the offensive teams stats. If the fumble is on a running play, the return yards are deducted from the ...

No Stats after Loading Saved Game

I saved a game at halftime to play later. When I loaded the saved file into the game, although the score of the game remained, all of the game stats (team and individual) were blank.

RE: QB Scramble

<t> All I know is that after making some tweaks to the Data Constant, and to the Offensive Profile in one of the playbooks, I just had a CPU vs CPU game where one QB was 27 out of 36 for 362 yards; while the other QB was 24 out of 35 for 324 yards.<br/>

<t> Instead of complaining about what you don't like about the game, you should learn how to use the correct spelling.<br/>

"Where" is spelled W.H.E.R.E., not W.E.R.E.[:-]<br/>
"Waste" is spelled W.A.S.T.E., not W.A.I.S.T.[:-]<br/>
