RE: off subject question

I have Action and DDS: College basketball.  I do not play Action Basketball at all.  And while DDS is overly mundane (complicated), it still is fun once you get the hang of it.

RE: Possible glitch, rules not quite right?

<t> I normally wouldn't have noticed it myself, but as I was trying to play hurry up in the last few minutes of the game I noticed some time pass between the TD and PAT.&nbsp; <br/>
<br/>
It isn't a big deal; and it is possible I am mistaken.&nbsp; If it means anything, I was playing an exibition ...

Possible glitch, rules not quite right?

<t> I was playing and noticed a slight timing glitch. After a touchdown, the game clock continued to count down while waiting for the PAT. <br/>
<br/>
I don't follow football quite as much as I used to, but I believe the clock shouldn't run between the td and pat.<br/>

RE: New Old problem

True, but since the game itself runs fine with UAC turned off, I thought that maybe something else was in play.

No worries, I'll just have to switch UAC off when i want to edit.

RE: A question for VISTA users

I mentioned this in another thread, but my problem was due to UAC being turned off.&nbsp; Turning it back on solved the problem.

RE: New Old problem

<t> OK, problem is solved; though i don't particularly like the solution.<br/>
<br/>
I had been getting tired of always having to confirm copy actions, etc so i had turned off UAC.&nbsp; Well, apparently that prevents some programs written in VB from functioning.&nbsp; Turning UAC back on allows ...

Thank you for the quick response.&nbsp; Having that repair function available will be a great addition.&nbsp; It doesn't take much to get a corrupt database.&nbsp; I'm sure it will help others down the road.

RE: Another frozen game with 2.27

<t> If I do what you did, and sim only that game in week 6, I also get by and it does not freeze. This was happening when i was quick-simming the entire week. I'll try again siming the entire week and see if it freezes at the same place.<br/>
<br/>
OK, an update. After getting by that one game ...

RE: Another frozen game with 2.27

<t> Yes, Lounder is correct.&nbsp; <br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
I don't know if this has anything to do with anything, but I looked at the filesize of the mdb before playing, and it was at around 21 MB.&nbsp; The mdb after freezing was at 121 mb.&nbsp; Huge difference!&nbsp; Again, I don't know if that means ...

Another frozen game with 2.27

<t> I have aleague using stock plays and playbooks. I get to season 5, week 6 and the game freezes when saving stats for a particular player. I mention this as I decided that something may have gotten corrupt, so I imported the league again from earlier in the season. Then I simmed out week 4 and ...

P Category in the Heading?

<t> In all of the screens, I pretty much know what each means. However, there is one exception. In the standings screen there is headings of W-L-T-P-PF-PA. I know what all but the P stands for. I have noticed that the better the record, the higher the number for this field is. I just don't know what ...

RE: A question for VISTA users

<t> Yes, the game works very well on Vista 64.&nbsp; It probably is a dependancy that doesn't exist; but i have no idea what that dependancy is.&nbsp; That is what frustrates me, as I have heard others were running both fine on Vista.&nbsp; I was just curious if it was a difference in the 32 vs 64 ...

RE: Couple of Wishes

<r> I figured #3 would not be doable, just thrown in as something that would be nice.<br/>
<br/>
As to #5, I am thinking it would be nice to show average yardage for punts anywhere they show total yardage for punts. Not only in the in-game stat pages, but also in the season stat page.<br/>

Couple of Wishes

<t> Small things, but would make things better, IMHO.<br/>
<br/>
1. The ability to look at a player and see how many seasons he has played. This way we might be able to plan on who to draft. IE, I might have a good quarterback and I would want to draft a qb a couple of seasons before my current qb ...
