Okay, but I suggest increasing the tank and related unit attacks to have a higher probability of forcing enemy units to retreat. The French human wall defense has left me somewhat at a loss

Playing as allies, I diplomatically pushed Switzerland into positive territory and it triggered the event where you spend tons of MPP's to swing it 40 points away from the axis. Yea you are in serious trouble, if he kills the Com. Chi fortifcation (which appears he is trying to) he can make a run to the capital.

France will not make any tech investments, as it is highly unlikely they will complete even their first research before being eliminated by the Axis. Free France will later inherit that research, but cannot advance it further, so I generally avoid selling any research either. Perhaps this could be ...

Also had the USSR 100% but not at war try to use UK ports for fleet script. I use random in the modulizations script so no two games play the same. And use random for belligerent scripts for the same reason. So it is not uncommon to have a Major and their minors at 100% but not at war. The ports ...

The reason is each Major has a Belligerence setting that is separate to its mobilization setting, which means that it can be fully mobilized, i.e. at 100% mobilization, but not necessarily at war with any other country. A Major country that is fully
