RE: ?Bug

Yeah, I think you are right. I eventually got the sub moving in the right direction.

It was frustrating though as the skipper could have headed for deeper water as the contact (which turned out to be biological) was due south at the time of detection.

<t> I think it means that Matrix are changing the way they deliver patches, and that the 1.03 stand alone patch will be considerably smaller in size that the 1Gb size of The Bloody Road. Obviously the stand alone patch is not going to have the content of the addon, but I have seen nothing to ...

RE: CWII Bloody Road South?

Pocus over at the AGEOD forums has just announced that Matrix are changing the way they release patches, and the 1.03 update encountered some technical issues as a result but will be out in a few days.

WTF! Do we have to pay for the patch?

No, but The Bloody Road South requires it, hence why it is included the download.

You could have said the same thing about the Handley Page Victor, and look what a good aircraft that turned out to be.

RE: Feature Request: A separate DB viewer

Is it room to put two on your desk, because if you get monitors with VESA mounts, you can get a replacement stand that will allow you to mount two side by side (or 3, or 4 ...., depending on what you buy).

RE: Reference books help please

And talking of books going up in price - I checked the other day how much it would cost me to replace my complete set of Conway's All the World's Fighting Ships. The answer made me feel faint - at least double what I paid for them and I thought that was bad enough.

I think Command uses DX9, in which case it might work under Wine since Wine supports DX9.

Have you checked that the carrier actually has sufficient ordinance to rearm the aircraft ? You get the situation you describe when you are trying to arm your planes when you have an insufficient quantity of them to do so.

RE: Is SSM probability of hit really this bad?

Well rather than wait until the end, could you not save the log periodically ? I think there is also an option to clear the log, so you could pause the game, save the log and then clear it, before resuming.
