First the bad news....we still don't know when the patch is coming other than "soon." The good news is I quit playing a couple of years ago upon news of a forthcoming patch and have forgotten most everything so when I start my next campaign it will feel like a new game all over again :)

All that said, is there someone who would so kindly ping Matrix for an ETA? If it's December for a Christmas sale event I would be disappointed but I would at least feel better knowing.

Couple of basic questions. First, what version do you recommend updating from when the next update is released? Second, has Matrix given any timeframe when they will release the next update? New install via Steam. Game will not load and demands a 1024x760 resolution, change my system to that to get it to load. Then at main menu there is no cursor. Things highlight when the invisible cursor goes over it, but that is it. Nvidia 2080 Ti card.

A lot of good changes and mods have been created over the years. Just curious what if any significant changes are being made for the final version vs the beta.
And FYI - label the final version 12.7.41 ;)

I'm extremely pleased how the team continues to make improvements even on older games. BUT it sure would be nice to get a guestimated ETA, even the date is way out there. Like others, I'm waiting to jump into a new game again and am chomping at the bit.

Question or you can point me to a thread. In BTR, any tips on what are the best altitudes to use for the various aircraft? Escorts and bombers is what I'm refering to. Also, can you pull off a low level Ploesti refinery style raid and get away with it?
