Re: Problems with the font switch

Thank you very much, Nomad. That's done the trick. I knew I was doing something wrong, just couldn't remember! That standard font is too much for my old eyes! Thanks again.

Problems with the font switch

Hello

It's a while since I've played. I've reminded myself via the forum search function how to change the font. But it doesn't to be working for me. Am I doing something wrong? Any help gratefully received, please. Many thanks

This is the switch I've used; "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific ...

RE: Which scenario to try after the tutorial?/

Thanks loki100, that's really useful. I definitely don't understand the Tac airpower element yet so I'll follow your suggestions.

I think it's a fantastic game so far.

Which scenario to try after the tutorial?/

Hello

I'm really enjoying this game, I just recently bought it. I've played the tutorial several times which has been invaluable. What's the suggested next one to play? Or doesn't it really matter? thanks

PBEM with multiple versions, and different versions on same laptop

<t> Hello

I will apologise in advance for two possibly stupid questions but I hope someone takes pity and can offer some advice!

1. Can a PBEM be run between two players if one has 18.11.26B (Sep 17 2016) and the other has 18.11.26A (Jul 10 2016).

2. Is it ...

Search - random or set arcs?

<t> Hello,

I've returned to the game after several years away. I've (re) printed the manual and I'm sifting here for all of the excellent advice that people share. I've been reading about naval search. I wanted to ask, what's the latest opinion on the efficacy of setting search arcs vs ...

RE: (Slightly) OT: UK TV - The Singapore Grip

I'm something of a fan of JG Farrell and I've read the 'colonial trilogy'. I think my favourite actually was 'The Singapore Grip'. It's a difficult one to adapt but they've made a good effort.

I've also visited Fort Canning - what struck me was how small it was.

(Slightly) OT: UK TV - The Singapore Grip

To those of us in the UK, have you seen any of the ITV drama "The Singapore Grip"? It's from the JG Farrell novel set from November 1941 to February 1942, about the Battle of Malaya (among other things).

Looking for PBEM opponent, anything considered (CLOSED)

Hello,

I'm returning to WITP after some years away. I prefer to play Allies, stock scenarios but really open to any offers. I'm in the UK so GMT timezone. I can do 5 turns a week if it's a big scenario, more if it's smaller.

Thanks
Matt

Japanese opponent wanted, any scen/campaign considered

Hello

I am returning to WITP PBEM after a long time away. Anyone interested in playing anything? Willing to try anything: small scenarios or big campaigns. But I only play Allied. I can usually do 1 turn per day. London/UK time zone. PM me if interested.

Looks good - maybe quite similar to the Command Ops series? (Battles for Greece / Battles from the Bulge)
