RE: The Good The Bad & The Indifferent

<t> Don't know if this is just me it is interesting how if you add the point sub totals together they don't seem to match the total points. If I had to guess (assuming I did my sums right of course) it looks like the points under scoring appear to reflect FOW whilst the total seems to reflect actual ...

RE: The Good The Bad & The Indifferent

<t> Just wondered if you have any assault shipping in the Malaya area? You have many units already prepped at 100% why not try an amphibious invasion based out of Johre Bahru under heavy CAP rather than a crossing? Obviously Japanese players avoid this in 42 due to the big CD unit there but John is ...

The Soviet AI and Leningrad

<t> I'm playing as the Axis under version 1.08.08. I've set the AI settings to 109 for everything and avoided any use of HQ Build ups.<br/>
<br/>
At the end of turn 11 my spearheads are 2-3 hexes from Leningrad and Moscow and 8 or 9 from Rostov. Basically it appears 80-90% of the AI's OOB is ...

RE: Turn 3: 3-9 July 1941

<t> I've been using the Sillyflower model (or my poor imitation of it anyway [:)]) against the AI. The poor AI cannot seem to cope. Whilst a human would be leery of placing units in front of a combination of infantry and fuelled up panzers the AI can't seem to help itself [:D]<br/>

RE: Air Unit Withdrawal

Thanks bobo useful to know! I only just found the toggle that switches the reinforcements / withdrawals to view air groups [:)]. Playing as the axis it was a bit of a shock to see how many groups leave! At least if they are going to leave they can take some of the junk with them.

Air Unit Withdrawal

When an air unit withdraws will its planes be added to the pool or are they lost for good?

Morale Loss

<t> I'm playing the AI as the axis under version 1.08.07. On turn 3 I noticed for some reason that all my starting infantry divisions with a morale of 90 had been reduced to 89. None of them had any defeats against their name or were out of supply. <br/>

TOE Adjustments

I noticed reading Sillyflowers AAR that he reduced the TOE % of various units heavy art, inf with morale of 70. Is this normal practice for the axis player and if so what groups of units are normally modified and by how much?

Tracking Soviet Production Losses

As the axis player is there a way to see in the interface how many Soviet HI, Armaments, Factories etc you have destroyed or is it a matter of recording it manually turn by turn?

RE: SILLY's SWANSONG NO BRIAN G

Great AAR Sillyflower! As well as being a great read I have learnt so much. Appreciate the effort you've made to explain the "why" of what you do.

One request if I may would it be possible to show a screenshot(s) of your various fronts with the rail map displayed?
