RE: I keep coming back to certain campaigns

<t> 1813 (Napoleon) may be my favorite campaign, although it does change. Both sides attacking and defending and fairly evenly matched until the Austrians got moving. Can't think of any PC games on that campaign tho - although there was that AGEOD game with it as a scenario the scale was too big for ...

RE: Wars Across The World

<t> I just picked this up and so far like what I see. Granted I've only played the First Punic War scenario but there is enough depth to the gameplay for me to recommend it.<br/>
<br/>
It is much deeper than Risk. Supply, Leadership and Morale are all important. There are sieges, cavalry pursuit ...

RE: New Game?

Looks good, thanks for the update. Will there be an option to manually enter battle results so that, say, oh just off the top of my head, if I wanted to fight a battle in Field of Glory 2 then enter the results back into the game? I think I know what the answer will be but I can dream [;)]

RE: Quick Question

Yes, thanks for answer. Some gunpowder era operational games do this - two sides meet and then you get the miniatures out and resolve the battle then input the results. I think Campaigns on the Danube has this feature. Anyway, thanks.

Quick Question

I'm guessing not but does TOAW allow the player to resolve tactical battles manually on their own and input the battle results back in?

Hello, thinking of picking this game up - can I play either the Arab or Israeli sides? Or just Israeli?

The Soviet rifle corps were differentiated on numbers (so Guard corps had more men than an "A" corps). The German infantry ...

RE: Bagration

<t> It was so much work! I should've kept all the different trooptypes/map/units backed up somewhere else. That took an incredible amount of time. I actually had to divide the Panzer Divisions and Mech/Tank Corps into two separate units apiece because their TO&E was more than the 8 slots provided in ...

RE: Bagration

I have nothing. I guess if you want the boardgame version go buy "Victory Roads" [;)] I based my mod on it. I am illiterate when it comes to computers and didn't backup the game in the proper folders is long and short of it.

<t> ^good idea<br/>
<br/>
I was thinking of two turns, pre-start, where the soviet support units get 100% AP's in order to move where ever they want. All German units would get 50% AP's to allow limited shuffling.<br/>

Problem is, it's a big map so if the Soviets wanted to hit the Southern ...
