Jackson

<t> I have recently played a game as the confederacy and was doing quite well up to jan. of 1864. Jackson was killed in a previous battle and the next battle i was attacked i suffered a grand defeat. Now probably this defeat is unrelated from his death but it peaked my curiosity. I know he wasn't ...

RE: History channel has a 2 hour show on sherman.

It is true of the seven shot rifles (which i belive began in 1862) but this advantage was not really exploited becasue the war department feared of the amount of ammo that would be consumed and as a result an increase in the spending of the already expensive war.

I believe that guns are lost, though only Eric knows for sure.

Why would the guns be "lost" that doesn't make any sense!?

RE: A Map Question

Didn't the south purposely move into the middle of nowhere so they could devalue the union numbers and use the cover of the "wilderness" to easily defend their armies (not necessarily true for all the examples you gave)

RE: Insanity

that makes sense to customize it (so everyone is happy). But the US numerical advantage, how does that work with such limitations. Their vast population levels can only be used to only a certain point. Currently what is the limit on battle limitiations for instant battle?

One more question, why is there a limit as to how many troops can be inculded in an instant battle? just curious, seems kind of odd.
