I'm playing as the Americans, with a start date of 1890. About 1906, it gives me an error re: a French ship class file not generating, if I read the error correctly.

You know, I was whining about the China front--I was probably one of the instigators of the whole Quiet China thing--but I've changed my mind. It's actually a compelling, interesting part of the game.

Despite the rosy comments to the contrary, no one bought the game for the China aspect.

I am forced to concur with the original poster. The lack of auto-pilot in China is an albatross around the neck of a fine game.

Is the invincible gunboat bug fixed?

I am playing the Southern Steel scenario. In it, I allowed a rebel army to take Cairo, and I retook it. Unfortunately, they left two gunboats parked outside that I cannot get rid of. I've tried everything--parking my gunboats there, parking an army, et. al. Is there any way I can remove them?

Now now, the boys have been working very hard, and it's taken a lot of time and effort to get this patch out. Let's give them a break for once. The last thing they need is to be badgered.

That said, when is the patch coming out?

It's a minor thing, and it probably can't be done, but instead of mustered regiments being named 165th Infantry, 215th Infantry, so on, I would like them to be automatically named after the state of origin, like 1st Minnesota, or 12th New York.
