The sole function of a telegraph is to double the reinforcement arrival rate into a detailed battle in that province (it has nothing to do with the disbursements each turn from camps).

Question about research

<t> good morning all! just got back into FoF after a long break and have a quick question. I prefer to play the strategic portion of the game, no tactical battles for me; it's all instant resolution, and want to know what research to focus on. For example, some research upgrades specifically ...

RE: Unit attributes-suggestions?

I believe that pretty much all of them have an impact, but this is a subject for Eric to discuss. I'm way out of my depth here...

Eric, any ideas you can share with us on this?

Since I never play detailed combat, I'd like to know which upgrades or abilities I can ignore while upgrading my force, or which ...

RE: End of game

that is a nice feature.  but it would still be nice to have access to and be able to view all the units/cities/generals of your opponent.  Gives you a better idea of why you won (or in my case, how the AI kicked my butt... ).

Emancipation

<t> During my latest game as USA - in 1862 the CSA declared eman and LA, TN, GA and AL stood down (I can understand why, my Union boys were whippin' em good [;)] ). <br/>
<br/>
If I understand the rules, these states don't produce any income, resourses or troops for the CSA. So, is it even worth ...
