RE: Strange Occurances With 8 Team CFL League

<t> It so happens that I have Access and Open Office. Managed to figure some of that out today and made my way thru it. A very happy man I am.<br/>
<br/>
Thanks guys!<br/>
<br/>
I at least have a work around now. Hopefully I can manage to tweak my league to move between seasons without the ...

RE: Strange Occurances With 8 Team CFL League

<t> Good call on the playclock, we have :25 running now, I'm going to run some tests with :45 and I think that will solve my issue.<br/>
<br/>
So far as players being addedin #1, all of our teams are human controlled and our teams are real life based and will remain as such im perpetuem. The only ...

Strange Occurances With 8 Team CFL League

<t> I'm trying to set up a CFL league for my football simulations and I'm running into some really pesky issues.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
#1. Even when I select no draft, it seems like it absolutely positively demands that there be a draft and ends up assigning players to teams. This means that I end up ...

RE: Import a League

I run into this same issue with the CFL files available at www.fbmax.com
&nbsp;
I try to put the .lge file in the main directory, but all it shows is an empty league when scrolling thru.

RE: Better File Management

File managment for teams is a big one too. Right now so far as I can tell it's a pain in the butt to import a&nbsp;created team's ratings and the like. Makes it difficult to simulate the CFL or any other league with teams created.

RE: INDOOR Game wish

<t> Exactly. The only suggestion I could add would be different goal post size. That would seem to work out, however you couldn't do the nets then. HOWEVER some striking person could figure out high walls behind the goal that the ball bounces off of. Silly idea as it still isn't a simulated action ...

RE: INDOOR Game wish

<t> Yeah obviously if they end up renewing it, creating the ability to simulate it would be sketchy at best, IE stupid. No one wants any international incidents with David heading to jail. Of course it's also covered in Canadian patent law too. I have to admit that this is something that I know very ...

RE: INDOOR Game wish

<t> Hey Marauders, <br/>
<br/>
Been researching a little bit and the original patent expires this year. I also checked to see if I could find any status of an extension application or processing and neither appears to be the case. While I understand the AFL not wanting competition in the formative ...

RE: INDOOR Game wish

<t> Just as a note, because I apparently like to spend my team researching this stuff... the patent expires this year on the rebound nets.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
Would hope to see it, but not counting on it, seems like it'd be difficult to implement. Shrug... will just have to port and hack the PS2 ...
