RE: Generals not matching their Bios

I can't be 100% sure on this but I think my list of matches generals-bios were the same as Ryvans. I definitely remember Butler=Shelby anyway. Edit: I have 1.5 GB in my machine, although I do have lots of stuff running sometimes, AV, Firewall etc.

RE: Generals not matching their Bios

The two time I noticed it were both early in the game and I remember the Generals were giving the same wrong bio in both games. Check out my saved game I submitted near the beginning of this thread.

RE: Generals not matching their Bios

I noticed it on the first turn when I was trying to create the problem, But I was only able to do it once and I was restarting the game without exiting. I really thought we might have been on to something but I guess MarcusCSA has proven us wrong.

RE: Generals not matching their Bios

<t> Ok I experimented a little and found the following: I started a new game as the South (coming fury the one that says balanced but isn't, more generals) found that all bios at the start were correct. I then started another game as the Union all options and scenario the same and found that all the ...

RE: Generals not matching their Bios

I haven't done any modding at all. I'm wondering though, will I have to uninstall and reinstall to get rid of this?

Generals not matching their Bios

Im playing a new coming fury game with the latest patch as the Union and when I press the bio button for any general I get another generals bio, has anyone else noticed this? The bios for the LUs however seem to work just fine.

RE: Do you play detailed battles?

I would play detailed battles more often but I usually win against the AI when I really shouldn't. I will play more detailed battles if the AI is improved in the upcoming patch.

RE: Wish List

<t> I remember an old ACW strategic level game by SSI I believe back in the 70s or early 80s. The game was balanced historically not by hamstringing the Union or providing the South with extra resources, but by making the generals a major part in when things could be done. For instance, McClellan ...

RE: Generals' Teachable Special Abilities

<t> I know this is a bit off topic and I hope everyone will excuse me but this seems as good a place as any to bring it up. When modelling some of the leaders it seems some "negative attributes" would be appropriate. I don't want to go in to any specifics I just thought maybe this should be ...

Entrenchments

<t> I know that there is a problem with them as I have read it here before, but how is everyone overcoming it now. In detailed battles if I try to breach a line of trenches it is darned near impossible! Another thing I wonder about is how is the enemy starting detailed battles already entrenched, I ...
