I restarted the game and the problem is gone. Not sure if it was a bug or me doing something stupid the first time. Will report if it happens again.

Plotting waypoint on friendly unit

To plot a waypoint in a hex with a friendly unit, I have to click on a space in the hex around the friendly unit, which is not very practical.

Maybe I made a mistake somewhere in the option?

Yeah those volksgrenadier in the north against some of the best US infantry divisions won't go far. Some Bulge games don't take the map so far to the north and stop around Monschau.

Yes, there's also JTS (now WDS) Bulge 44 at the same scale. And various sources from books.

But I'd like to know if there is a reason why the setup is different in this game. Helping the AI? Campaign balance? Might be good to know before changing it

I first saw "Clervoux" in Skyline Drive, then checked on the main Wacht am Rhein scenario. Clervoux was there too. Other errors are also from Wacht am Rhein but seems to be consistent from scenario to scenario. "Targoon" and "Bersmenil" are also on 82nd airborne by example.
