RE: History and your personal life

<t> Dealing with auto traffic must have been similar to the axis' ordeal of dealing with the Allies blockade of supply lines during WWII in the pacific and the atlantic. Other than that, nothing can be compared to the hellish reality that is war. If wargames have taught me anything, its the fact ...

1. I'm not a big fan of the NATO symbols in wargaming. I would much rather see a tank icon or an infantry icon etc..etc.. that represents the units in the game. Every screenshot I've seen of this game ...

In my experience, any game by Firaxis requires more processing power for their turn based games, than Blizzard would require for their RTS.

Really?

RE: Two new games worth checking out!

War Leaders looks like a decent game but I really prefer the Close Combat tactical style for RTS gaming. Problem is, hardly any games play like CC. [:(]

Hex based gameplay is just more popular among wargamers.

RE: Criticism: Is it improving or killing our games?

<t> There is no such thing as a "perfect" game. You either enjoy playing it or you don't. Developers can only do so much with a game and sometimes they have to sacrifice historical accuracy for fun gameplay. I mean honestly, would anyone enjoy playing a game based on Operation Desert Storm? I wouldn ...

Looks like a very ambitious title. However, it also looks like Commander - EAW but with bigger maps and more hexes. I wonder if its going to play exactly like EaW but just bigger maps and more features?

I was wondering what do you think is most complex and easiest

Strategic Command. Its really easy to catch on to the complex gameplay mechanics of SC.
