Did a full reinstall and have the same problem.

Method was:
Use Windows 11 uninstaller to remove EDBTR.
Manually delete the entire Matrix Games folder from C:
Download EDBTR from Matrix.
Download EDBTR patch from Matrix.
Download HFX from your link.
Install EDBTR.
Install EDBTR patch.
Copy over BTR ...

I just started a new campaign. I immediately checked Hope Boyd, and he's 0/0. I'm going to assume I have something corrupted and will try wiping out everything and installing from scratch when I get a chance.

The primary purpose of the Izumos is anti-submarine warfare. So they are just destroyers - with an unusually large ASW helicopter hangar :P

not sure AEGIS (1980's tech in USN) can cope in Taiwan blockade/invasion/conflict scenario with this.

A US TF with aircraft carrier and escorts versus, lets be conservative here, 500+ missiles coming towards them ...

Let's be honest here, guys. The graphics are significantly worse than CMBO was 25 years ago (it's got bushes! And grain fields!). With CMBB it's not even a contest.

It'd get murdered in Steam as-is. Realistically you need adequate terrain graphics and option to scale the models much bigger so ...

I think any replacement was sacrificed at the altar of the P-8. Osprey variant might be a good way to go...


The Osprey is and would be the worst platform for ASW and COD... it's FMC rates are well below 50% on average across all squadrons and mission types... The S-3's were cut for budget ...

Just to confirm, I had this happen in Falklands 6 (Wolf Pack). Harriers refused to leave cruising altitude to attack NOE Pucaras. They would nose down for a moment, then pop right back up. Workaround to change attack altitude to 1000 feet via the dropdowns was successful.
