I’m guessing that you are playing against the PO without using the commander movement/attack option. Otherwise, I doubt you would be able to surround the enemy or achieve ...

Let me know which units you are talking about and I’ll do some testing. Some of the character units are designed to be hard to kill, but this sounds like foot or horse units.

I heard about this scenario from previous versions but I've never try it before.

But this time - with these trully amazing graphics (congrats to T. Walsh) - I had to try it.

After 30 turns I must say it plays OK but combat resolution is far different from the usual TOAW feeling:

Please note that Europe Aflame to TOAW IV v.1.3.1 isn't a mod. It's the "official" adaptation of this scenario to TOAW IV.

As to your doubts:
1) The structure under 'Documents' has all scenario subfolders completely empty. That's a known fact.
Use instead the path C: programes / Matrix Games / The ...

PO was introduced on EA TOAW IV update. It was tested and it works.
However EA is a complex scenario and understandably PO isn't up to the job completely.
If it's worth investing some time in it depends on your expectations.

The scenario designer (Brett Turner) created an extented version of this scenario back in 2002: Four weeks in Normady.
It was originally created in TOAW I. This version (available here http://alternatewars.com/Games/TOAW/TOAW.htm ) should work no more with TOAW IV. But at least you'll be able to ...
