RE: Artificial sighting problem patch 1.02

Any update as to when we can expect a fix? Because I'm finding it a complete pain in the ass and I'm certain it doesn't just happen when you've placed an artificial sighting before any real sightings have occured.

Jeg klarer fortsatt ikke å forstå hva problemet er eller hva det er du prøver å oppnå.

RE: New ships made

I must confess that I'm having some difficulty in understanding what you mean by "surpressed pixels", could you elaborate?
In the worst csae scenario try doing it in danish, I'm norwegian myself so I might understand you then.

RE: Disappearance of some options after patch

ORIGINAL: alexs

They will be included in the next patch, and can now be set per country rather than side.

That's wonderful, it'll open up so many new possibilities for modding.

RE: Does surfcae combat even work?

I've reloaded the autosave and tried again, setting the TFs to engage this sighting. Despite the 27 knots speed difference, daylight, 2 TFs against 1 and an entire day to engage nothing happened.

Does surface combat even work?

<t> I just played the Coral Sea Historical scenario and ended up having two of my cruiser forces (Lexington got sunk) chasing a crippled carrier. They spent an entire day at 33 knots chasing it back and forth without ever making contact. (I ended up setting them to engage this sighting and high time ...

Related to this is the extreme vulnerability that I'm finding, of my US ships/CV's in the 1942 scenarios. I haven't seen any evidence of superior US damage control. Things just sink quickly and the brilliant bomb/torp aim of the Jap AI ...

I think there's a limit to the number of squadrons that can operate from the same airfield.

Nice to see more AARs here. I'm surprised the Saratoga survived the first Japanese strike, was she under clouds at the time?

Problem with CAP

<t> In my last game when I allocated some of my fighters as CAP they seemed to get stuck in the "arming and fueling" slot and never exited it, even when I allocated every single fighter to CAP all my fighters were listed as "arming and fueling" and none were ever actually launched. This lasted until ...

The Lexington and Enterprise was ordered to the south/southeast of Wake with the intention of intercepting any Japanese invasion force or other TG while the Saratoga proceeded to a position north of Wake. The Tangier was ordered to make a run ...
