RE: Access Runtime Question for the Scenario Viewer

<t> Like many things in life, size doesn't matter.<br/>
<br/>
You need to find someone who has Access 2007/2010. Open the DB then save it in the new .accdb format, then you can use it with the freely distributable runtime.<br/>
If the DB runs in Acess 2003 i'm pretty confident it will run in 2007 ...

RE: Access Runtime Question for the Scenario Viewer

If you can convert it to Access 2007/2010 you can then download the runtime (For free) then anyone who doesn't have a copy of Access can run your db file.

Play by e-mail

<t> Hi <br/>
<br/>
The product data for Field Of Glory mentions Plat by E-mail. I can't seem to find a mention of this in the rules. <br/>
How would I go about this ?<br/>
Is it just a case of playing your turn then sending the file to your opponent ? or am I missing something ?<br/>

RE: A Little Gem

<t> Agreed. I bought it the other day, to give me something to do over the holidays. Gave it a try last night and couldn't stop playing. Takes me back (as i'm sure it's supposed to ) to the old days playing with miniatures but without the time consuming arithmetic involved !<br/>
I'd recommend it ...

At least I know it does work on my desktop. (Still have The Campaign series and CC watch on rhine) to keep me amused on the netbook !

For what it's worth, it's a yes from me. If only because there are already ways around it making any security features pretty much pointless.

RE: Run from External drive?

<t> Hi<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
I would try installing the game (from scratch) onto your external hard drive, as opposed to merely copying the directory from one drive to the other. If you just copy the directory i'm guessing the game would be looking for the serial on your C drive. (which it wouldn't ...
