Are the crashes on this board being worked on or is this game abandonware already?

Have the developers been informed about this bug? Do I have any hope of a resolution or should I just forget about it?

Did you patch, out of curiosity? I only saw this same issue if I installed the patch. It seems like they duplicated that one function in system.xbig and patch.xbig. Also, did you download from Matrix Games?
