RE: Unit Employment Stickies

Fair enough, then, as the only two individuals to reply, I guess you may be indicative of the population as whole.

Let's let this issue die.

Thanks for you input, however.

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>I'd change this distinction to run between fast and slow main line units. Armour is different- but the main distinction I make is between fast and slow units.

Unit Employment Stickies

<t> Considering the fact that this is the "War Room" would it be possible to create stickies in this forum for each of the main basic unit types, so that we all don't have to hunt and search for tips on the employment of each type? (Run-on sentence?)<br/>

How about stickies for each of the ...

I scored so well on the aptitude tests (not a joke) that the recruiter told me I could do just about any job, and wondered what I would like to become. So I asked the recruiter what I could do, he looked at the ...

Aircraft Loss Tolerances

Do aircraft loss tolerance settings have any impact on indirect aircraft operations?

That is, for the 'behind the scenes' air superiorty battles, and air transport bouncing, do they have any effect?

Thanks.

RE: Magnification

I have occassionally magnified the map as well. I have found that you need to have your cursor inside the frame of the dialog window in order to scroll the info. If the cursor is on the frame or outside the window, it will zoom the map.

RE: FITE

I would most certainly be interested in playing the Soviets. I am able to play two or three turns a week with a few, work related out-of-town, exceptions.
Let me know.
Also, which version of TOAWIII, and which version of FitE.

Thanks.

RE: Frozen lakes

In regards to fortifying on frozen lakes, it can, and has been, done. It takes a lot of effort, resources, time and water to do it, but it is possible. The fortifications end up looking alot like sangars from the desert, except white and snowy, of course.

Auto Centering

I may be alittle slow on the uptake, but is there a way to disable the auto-centering feature under the latest patch. I took a blow to the head at some point in my career, and trying to follow the constant screen jumping actually makes me nauseous.
Thanks.
