RE: Thanksgiving Day, 1945: Family Oral History

Thank you for a great WWII Thanksgiving story. My father was in Japan that day, but unfortunately, I have no idea how it went for him, though I'm sure it was not as dynamic as your grandfather's!

RE: WITP vs WITP-Admirals Ed?

<t> I have all three...UV, WiTP and WiTP-AE. My personal preference is vanilla WiTP. If you're already familiar with UV, it isn't a big step to go to WiTP. <br/>
<br/>
I feel the game is realistic enough, although I admit AE has some cool stuff not found on WiTP. But WiTP is fun to play and you ...

RE: Any reason to pick this up?

<t> I have all three games in this series: UV, WiTP and WiTP-AE. <br/>
<br/>
I started with UV and it was great fun, but if you enjoy playing AE, I'm fairly sure you'll be disappointed with UV. It's older and does not have many of the playing features that have been added to AE. I believe there ...

RE: Newbie here

<t> Go for the long game. I'm into September 1944 in my first game and I'm still learning new things, but that hasn't caused me to regret the decision to play. Some things you have to learn as you go because of the order of battle. When you see something new appear, look it up in the manual and then ...
