RE: new game anyone

I have no string feeling for or against privateers. I am willing to play with them if that is what is asked for.

RE: new game anyone

I have no problem with what is proposed for the GAP. And now that I can get into the Google Group, I will use that for diplomatic discussions.

RE: new game anyone

I just feel that the more time to negotiate pre-game, the better.

RE: new game anyone

I think we should wait for the patch, but can we import the bids, see who won and then start dipolmacy and then import the bids again after the patch and start the game? Or will the second import randomize things so that maybe we do not get the same positions?

<t> But he stated that he recieved three bids from other people before Mardonius sent in his bids. This is after he requested bids. I am sorry that Mardonius delayed sending in his bids, but at least three people beat him to it.<br/>

I second Larry. It seemed to me from our host's post that he received those requests prior to Mardonius' post. Seems to me that first come, first added is the best way to go. I think that "fair play" should be extended to our host as well.

<t> I vote for bidding.<br/>
<br/>
As this is a first time for some people, I suggest that we try a simple bid system. When bidding use the numbers 1 through 7. 7 being for the country you most want, 1 for the least. You cannot use the same number more than once.<br/>

This will prevent ...

New player looking for opponent

I have just picked up WPO and have been fooling around with two of the scenarios. I was wondering if there was anyone interested in playing a game with a really new player? I will play either side.

RE: Thinking about buying

I have a question about WPO and UV. Which has more/better in game tutorial scenarios to get a feel for the game?
