Do we have any clue when this will become available? I'm only asking because i want to start a new game and would much prefer to use this latest version ... and knowing how long till it will be available would be hugely helpful.

The problem is that US subs have no cargo capacity (except for a few) but they all have the ability to load cargo despite the value in the editor being zero. THat's what I'm trying to figure out - how do they get that cargo capacity which only loads equipment.

I get that is how the scenarios are set up. I'm trying to make a custom scenario where i give the subs personnel space. That will work fine. My question is - how do i remove / reduce the equipment cargo space the subs get. I can't figure out how to do that in the editor.

I know the US delivered lend lease to Vladivostok by flagging the ships as Soviet so they were not attacked. I wonder how much of that excess capacity would be used in that way if the Allies had to allocate ships for that purpose (or just make them sit idle).

I have AE installed and working on my old PC - registered on Matrix site etc. I don't have the original install CD (or maybe it was a download) - too long ago. Where can i go to get that install exe? Or should i just copy the whole thing over from the old PC?

I only know of one affect. The morale of the HQ affects the MP cost for entering enemy controlled hexes. With 50 MP available, there's almost always enough MPs but if you make a big enough breakthrough, some HQs with low morale might not be able to keep up with the combat units.

The new support units happen when you build an army HQ using APs. These are NEW support units created along with the HQ - nothing got transferred.

Axis Amphibious landing

The rules seem to indicate that an Axis Amphib landing is possible in the Baltic (think Lithuania / Latvia / Estonia) but I can't seem to get a unit to move using Amph. Regular transport between friendly ports is fine but Amph does not work. Am I missing something?

I figured it out - you have to be in fail mode where it shows what hexes are damaged for the d to work.

Damage rail hexes

I was experimenting with building a scenario. I wanted to set some hexes to have rail damage. The hot key list shows d as the key to hit to damage rail ... but hitting d brings up the air doctrine screen. I tried d, D, ctrl-D, alt-D - none worked. What key does this?

The problem is that the 41a Sapper Bn/Rgt change TOE to a 41b version on Aug 1 1941. Apparently units with the OLD TOE cant be built on the last turn they before they become obsolete.
