Spanish capital In 1812

Is there any way to gain a new capital as Spain in the 1812 scenario?

RE: Danish flag mod... how to?

Any news on whether it is possible to change the flags? It is not really the minor nations flag on the strategic map that bothers me, but more the Swedish flag used for your troops in detailed combat. That really kills it for me!

Makes a ton of sense for France to have a super high UCI in 1815... Napoleon just got back from exile and raised a ton of troops in a hurry.

Maybe someone could mod the 1815 scenario with a lower UCI for France. I had considered a rule that would allow UCI to be reduced faster when all nations on the map are at peace.

That would be a good idea. But ...

Unit Cost Increase (UCI)

<t> Is there any way to reduce the UCI, besides the yearly 1% decrease? Playing as France in the 1815 scenarion you have about 500% in UCI making it impossible to buy any units. It might be realistic for the time, but it dosent really give you the option of playing on if you survive the first years ...

RE: A few suggestions for entrenchments

Engineers can't build them. But I also think the cost of pioneers should be increased with this extra ability. An entrenchment can save you up to 200 less casulties in a fire fight under some circumstances. So they are good value for 20 money and 20 horses[;)]

RE: A few suggestions for entrenchments

<t> I still think quality and/or strength has something to say. When I use a US or CSA brigade with just one pioneer, the CSA brigade with its higher strength and quality, usually is able to build more fortifications than the US brigade. But I still dont understand why a brigade suddenly isnt able ...

RE: A few suggestions for entrenchments

Ok. It seems that there are a max number of entrenches that a brigade can build. But how is this determined? Is it dependent on the strenght and quality of a unit? CSA brigades seems to be able to build a lot more fortification than the US, in the opening battle of the July scenario.

RE: A few suggestions for entrenchments

<t> I just tried buying a lot of pioneers for my brigades in the battle of Fredericksburg. I was succesful in building entrenches everytime I tried, and It didnt matter if the brigade was fatigued or not. I have had the same experience with brigades with the diggers ability, so is everything ...

Change of production and governor support

If you change production 5 times in the same city during a turn, will the governos support then be lowered by 15 points or just 3?

A few suggestions for entrenchments

<t> In my experience trenches are a little too overpowered for the human player. They absorb a lot of damage, and they are very quick to build. So if you have just one unit with this ability, you can quickly dug in and kill a good deal of the enemy's troops behind these fortifications. I would like ...

RE: Difficulty level bonuses

<t> Thanks for the answer. If there is still time for suggestions before the patch, I would like to see a change in how the power adjustment works. It shouldent affect research, but only the different resources like the difficulty setting does. Otherwise it makes it very hard to balance ...

Is the "QualityBonusInDetailedCombatPerDiffLevel" in the AcwConstants file working? I tried changing it to a higher number than 100, but I still dont see a quality increase for the AI brigades.

RE: Difficulty level bonuses

Just tested it a little myself, and it seems research is not affected, but gun production surely are. Railroad points I am not sure about.

Is it possible to change what the difficulty levels change in some files, or is this hardcoded?

Difficulty level bonuses

In the manual it says that "Each level of difficulty adds 20% to every category of income each turn for computer-controlled players". Does this bonus also affect research, guns and railroads? And is this bonus added to the National or Net income?

RE: France and Britain wont send any troops

I tried testing some more, and they do send a few troops from time to time. But they might also send resources instead, which they shouldent according to the manual.
