RE: Just get it right.

<t> If Matrix needs more playtesters then by all means put out a playtest recruitment thread and charge everyone&nbsp;the cost of the game&nbsp;to playtest and allow them to download the files privately.&nbsp; If more playtesters are needed and there are folks willing to pay to playtest then great ...

RE: Impressions of this game

<t> My big gripe with this game is that it was sold as a functioning game and it wasn't and still isn't. If Matrix had placed a big print disclaimer such as:<br/>
"EIA is in Beta format but was released prematurely before it is ready.&nbsp; Please press yes to purchase the pay-play beta test or ...

<t> The theme that I am beginning to see with awesome ADG boardgames Matrix-ized is that they are being done by one-person operations. <br/>

Lucky for you that you have waited to purchase the game (and perhaps never will). I made the mistake of buying as soon as it was released, expecting the normal Matrix quality. I own many Matrix titles and was quite the fan of Matrix Games.<br/>

RE: New Guy Here W/ ?s

The game needs a LOT of work. At the current pace it might be playable in 2011 vs. AI and less bug ridden.

As it stands today, it is an example of 80% completed product that was rushed into the sales pipeline.

RE: anyone else about read to give up??????

That admission of non-challenging AI should be placed as a warning label both on the product and in all advertisements, imho, until this gets playable.

RE: anyone else about read to give up??????

<t> While the latest patch did fix many bugs, I too feel ripped off by Matrix.&nbsp; This was my first Matrix game and I picked it up while I patiently waited for Worlds in Flame because I read the advertisement and thought that this was a finished product.&nbsp; The initial release clearly wasn't a ...

RE: Should I buy it ?

<t> I'm in the middle of a game with the 1.02 patch and things have picked up noticably.<br/>
<br/>
My opinion now shifts from negative to neutral.... interesting game with all of the previous exploits (that I had discovered) fixed, but the AI could still be improved.<br/>

At this pace, I ...

RE: I DON'T want my money back !

<t> 3) IMO if someone commits to playtesting and either doesn't do what they committed to do or does a poor job of it then those of us who purchase a product, EXPECTI?NG it to have been playtested will have open season on the lack of product quality.&nbsp; I have other Matrix products and they rock ...
