System Requirement: an advise...

My PC:
CPU: 1,8 Ghz
RAM: 1,5 Gb

WitP AE will need CPU: 2.0 Ghz minimum

I can't change my PC this year, so I fear AE will not be OK on my PC. What do you think ?

Landbase

Is it possible to permanently disable a landbase ? I find that it's too easy to repair the landing strip. The best way to eliminate the land based aircraft is the CAP. Not very realist. Or I've missed something ?

And on the defensive, is it worst ? I have the impression that AI sends TFs with CA and BB to bombard ennemy invaders without air support: in the Marianas scenario, the japanese BB (Musashi, Yamato) are destroyed in suicide mission (june 1944, it's a little too soon for this kind ...

RE: About AI...

Other questions about AI. In your experience:
1) has AI a tendency to scatter his carriers or is he able to concentrate them for striking ?
2) how does he manage the different TFs (bombardment, transport, air) for an invasion ?

Classic naval battle variant ?

Hello !

I'd like to create a scenario with a variant WITHOUT carrier (!!): there's a chance that no carrier will be engaged. Do you think that CAW is designed to simulate a classic naval battle (without carrier) too ?
