RE: Tactical symbols for German armored cars

<t> There are two symbols that would fit armored cars, "armored car company, wheeled" and "armored car company, halftracked", the one used for armored cars now. In this case, the company would need to be a mixed one and include halftracks as well as armored cars.<br/>
<br/>
If that is the case, we ...

RE: Some new weapons images

<t> That is a WWII icon library. Rouge5 made some more icons for Road to Baghdad, as the initial weapons icons and graphics altogether were taken from CC5 "as it is". The Iraqis had MG42 for RPK-47 and wore WWII German airborne uniforms. Rouge5 agreed to make Soviet weapons for RtB and later he also ...

RE: Some new weapons images

They are in tga format, upside down (to be used with Gadgetmunger).

There is a WWII icon library by Rouge5 on CCS, so they can be posted there. I will contact the CCS and CSO.

I have the images on my HD. Nowhere to upload but maybe I can send them to you?

Added some later versions of AK rifles, AN Abakan as well as the Vintorez and Val rifles and the SVU sniper rifle.

RE: Bit more accurate OPFOR

Can you extract the sound from the video in mp3 format? There is a program for repacking the Sound files so that the stock sounds can be replaced with new ones.

The developer has made an exe file. Everything else can be modded and improved by us gamers.

RE: Bit more accurate OPFOR

<t> There are some modern weapons graphics which can be used (credits to Rouge5 as the author).&nbsp;The Soviet period weapons were made for the Road to Baghdad game and are ready, only some of the modern weapons missing. The battlegroup pictures can either be kept as they are or made from photos ...

<t> Just some small improvements to the great work done for CCMT:<br/>
<br/>
Versions of infantry weapons<br/>

- version of AK-74 with a brown clip, modified stock (the metal version can then be used for later AK models, if someone makes ...

Cammo schemes revisited

<t> In CCMT the Army units seem to use two cammo schemes for desert: sand yellow with irregular brown patterns on top (new Army units) and overall sand yellow (the USMC stuff as shown in Road to Baghdad and added to the expansion patch). The color schemes for green fields are even three: overall ...

RE: Maps of older versions in CCMT

<t> Is there a chance to convert Road to Baghdad maps? There are some that are not in game yet, like the palace and blown bridge map. Conversion of RtB to CCMT is another possible mod with ready missions (that just need to be converted to CCMT).<br/>

The problem seems to be different ...

RE: Bit more accurate OPFOR

<t> Going back to tough Soviet style OPFOR: we have two suggestions, a more advanced HK team and more versions of BTR80. <br/>
- Russian marines (Morskaya Pehota or shortly Morpehi) <br/>
- Airbornes<br/>
- Special Forces (Spetsnaz)<br/>
Here we would need assistance from VDV and other experts ...

RE: Bit more accurate OPFOR

<t> The problem is, OPFOR really was meant as third world, CCMT was developed from a modern military simulator. In an earlier game, Road to Baghdad, poor Saddam even had no air support (the only good thing for him, the US side used mostly light forces, I remember only one Abrams in one mission ...

<t> The game seems to take older maps as they are, as long as they are square. Made some experiments with CC3 Arnhem map, it creates a scenario which loads and does not crash.<br/>
