RE: Manstein only mediocre?

Thanks EH, that was my problem exactly. Everything working now. Thanks for trying Budd. I guess I explained it badly.

RE: Manstein only mediocre?

Ok, just tried that. Couldn't import. Tried to load, no zip file showing. Tried to unzip with winrar....unexpected end of archive. This is probably something really simple I'm missing.

RE: A matter of personal taste

Anytime. By the way, I forgot to mention the beta patch for WtP is out in the members section which adds a lot of features, mousewheel zooming, zoom to cursor and the editor to name a few.

RE: Manual Questions

I took it to mean 40 percent of 65 is added to make 91 percent bonus. Not worked it out myself though.

RE: Manstein only mediocre?

<t> I originally downloaded the zip to that location, then tried to import....had the error. So deleted it, downloaded to another location and tried to import...still no joy. Do you press "ok" after it says this may take some time, because the hard drive does nothing. As soon as I press "ok" it says ...

<t> Yes, you can now scroll with the mousewheel. I think there are 3 levels of zoom.<br/>

I never played ATG but find this UI to be one of the best I have used. I was also on the fence, with Case Blue's predecessor Warsaw to Paris. There was no demo and I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the ...

RE: Manstein only mediocre?

Budd, I'm having the same problem. Download the zip, import. Says "this may take some time", press ok and it says "error unpacking" Am using beta patch, if that would make a difference.

RE: DC Case Blue Public Beta v1.01

<t> What's happening is if you zoom one level what was under your cursor appears in the centre of the screen, but if you zoom two levels at once your cursor is still where the unit originally was so the second zoom focuses on that area.<br/>

For small maps the zoom to cursor seems to be ...

P39 Airacobra graphics

The engine is using the Hurricane graphics for the P39 Airacobra. I've searched the folders and the correct graphics are there, so should be a simple fix.

Edit: I should mention that it's all graphics, the counters, unit card and info box.

RE: Suggestions/requests

<t> Well I haven't got CB yet, still in the "Just Married" phase with WtP (Wife is not happy after a couple all nighters!!). I AM getting CB as soon as money allows, no waiting for a sale/demo this time. I regret too much the time I could have spent with WtP already. But having been reading the ...

Mac,

Now is the time to buy WtP as Matrix have generously discounted it to celebrate the release of Case Blue. I took the plunge and am very glad I did. [:)]

RE: Release bundle ?

<t> I never bought Warsaw to Paris, though tempted, due to the lack of a demo. 28 quid is a lot in my financial position in a recession and I couldn't quite convince myself. Now if you were to have a sale of Warsaw to Paris to celebrate the release of Case Blue....Then I would definitely be tempted ...

Great photo retrospective....just reached Operation Barbarossa.

<r> Hi guys,<br/>
<br/>
Don't know if others have already discovered this. It's a photo retrospective of WW2 in 20 parts, most of which I haven't seen before. Kudos to Bluesnews.com for pointing me in it's direction originally. Anyway, it's just reached Operation Barbarossa which obviously is very ...

<t> Well, it's certainly not dead where I'm concerned. I'm relatively new to PCO, having only bought it a couple of weeks back, but I'm loving every minute. I've been wargaming since 1979 and computer wargaming since 1981. I'm a long time veteran of the Combat Mission series and I have to say you ...
