Release bundle ?

The development team behind the award-winning games Decisive Campaigns: From Warsaw To Paris and Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive year and theater of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: Case Blue simulates the German drive to Stalingrad and into the Caucasus of the summer of 1942, as well as its May preludes (2nd Kharkov offensive, Operation Trappenjagd) and also the Soviet winter counter-offensive (Operation Uranus) that ended with the encirclement of 6th Army in Stalingrad and the destruction of the axis minor armies. With many improvements including the PBEM++ system, this is a release to watch for wargamers!

Post by major.pain »

Are there any plans to offer a deal if you buy Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris at the same time as Decisive Campaigns:Case Blue, i plan on picking up Case Blue as it looks very good but would pick up both if this was the case?

This would be something I'd be interested in. Looked at Warsaw to Paris a few times and been truly tempted but, being a sensible wargamer (too many games - not enough time to play them all) always managed to hold off pressing the button. Now, if I thought I was getting a bargain, well that's a whole different proposition ;)

@Pirate,

I hear you, but you might want to rethink that logic. Buying two DC games (in a bundle nor not) would worsen your games : time ratio more than buying only one DC game. :)

best regards,
Vic

there is a lot of playtime in one title. DC Warsaw to Paris has been my number one gaming time killer since it's release. Case Blue is even bigger...

I never bought Warsaw to Paris, though tempted, due to the lack of a demo. 28 quid is a lot in my financial position in a recession and I couldn't quite convince myself. Now if you were to have a sale of Warsaw to Paris to celebrate the release of Case Blue....Then I would definitely be tempted. The Eastern front interests me even more than the early war. Wargames, especially strategic wargames, are a niche product (unfortunately) and tend to be higher priced than mainstream games due to less units sold. The lack of a demo can make the difference. A "Day of release sale" of the previous title may be just the fillip some people need and, if they like it, they will be hooked to future titles.

Just an idea. Admitedly one that would help me decide but still valid.

Hi guys,

No bundle at this time, but we agree that bringing more attention to Warsaw to Paris is a good idea, so we decided to have a $10 off sale for Warsaw to Paris to coincide with the release of Case Blue. More details will be in the announcement when it is posted.

Regards,

- Erik
