Took about 3 hours to download, and about 45 minutes to install on my machine.

Tested it and it all seems to work OK. Obviously need to go a lot deeper than I have so far.

My current game version (1.07.1527) tells me it's a BETA, and the updater could not find the update information to apply the update.
Where can I find the update download to do it manually?

Tried it. There are only 2 individual units on the map, no groups to view so there is no change to the view. And no change to the behaviour of the sim.

Uninstall seems to have gone fine, the application no longer exists on my computer. And this seems to be the problem because during the installation the routine reported an unknown decompression error on a file in "...\cache\WW ...

Re-ran the download, this time from the North American server. Ran smoothly and done within about an hour.

Best speed I got was about 380KB/s, slowest was about 175 KB/s. That's why I don't normally use the European site links for product downloads.
Anyhow, after about 4+ hours, and not much past halfway, it died.
