Woah, I wasn't aware that World in Flames will be released soon.

Where did you hear this? I checked the forum and still sounds like the
release date is indefinite.

I say all games should be released with video tutorials, like the John Tiller games.

What ever HPS Sims churns out next, I'll first in line. [:D]

I just hope they change their price rate and/or continue the Ancient Warfare series in '09.

I'm currently burnt out on the Tin Soldier games and Medieval II: Total War has left me a bit dry so here I am on the prowl for a new game set in that era. More specifically, I'm looking for games that focus more on tactical combat then strategy.

It turns out that cord I was using was not, in fact, a DVI cord... quick trip to the computer store and after dangling around a bit, I can now use the scaling feature and everything works fine. [:'(]

Heh.. erm... disregard that. What I thought was an empty plug-in is apparently also taken up by my video card (GeForce 260). [:D]

The cord I'm using says DVI but I'm not exactly sure where to plug it in on my tower. There's two plug-ins, one directly into the tower and one into my video card and I'm currently plugged into the former.

It's a LG 22" widescreen LCD, and obviously it was a success seeing as how it's now listed under it's brand/model name in nVidia options (instead of generic pnp monitor) but alas, I still do not see any ...

Yep... unfortunately, I still do no see any option for flat panel scaling. This is all I see;

The image has been resized by the image hoster, but, like I said, stretch that image to 1680 x 1050 resolution and you'll see my predicament.&nbsp;[:(]

I'm using Windows Vista and, alas, I do not see any option for "Change Flat Panel Settings".&nbsp;[:(]

Well that's already a problem... it's stretched to the point where it's at times difficult to tell what's what.
When I first heard Wacht announced, I was hoping this would be addressed. [:(]

Oh well, great game either way.

I'm glad that I can play the game under 1680 x 1050 resolution on the actual battle screen, but I'm wandering why I can't run the campaign screen or the other menus under this resolution.. ?

Is it possible to run this game windowed or perhaps alter the resolution from the 1280x1024 maximum default?
