RE: How much time do you take to setup a first turn?

In all fairness, the 1st turn is always the one that takes longer. After that you can probably do 15-30 minutes turns while you watch your war machine getting in gear and making minor tweaks here and there.

How much time do you take to setup a first turn?

Knowing this game, this topic isn't for the faint of hear. [:D]

I have never played the allies but a Japanese stock game usually took me about 4 hours, but with the CHS, there was so much stuff new that I took 2 days!

Not that I am complaining... [:D]

RE: Best Designed Ship of WWII

One lucky hit turned the Bismarck in a merry go round. The trouble with luck or lack of it, is that it can happen to anyone.

It did saved weight that could be used to for other stuff and she didn't had to cross the "t" to make use of all of its main guns.

RE: Best Designed Ship of WWII

I like the Richelieu design. The quadruple towers were not new, neither she was the first battleship with a couple of them. Heck, not even the first French battleship with those, but as for design, it was superb.

RE: A Japanese Fanboy's small moment of satisfaction

Considering that there were German aces with 300s, 200s and 100s kills... that might have happened. [X(] Their squadrons should have impressive results

RE: What side you you prefere to play, and why?

<r> Never tried an Allied campaign. Always Japan, because has everyone said it, it is harder. After 1943, with the allied war machine well greased, they have little chance of winning. I think I first got interested in the economic aspect of the fight after I read this: <URL url="http://www ...

RE: What now?

<t> The AI did provided some fun and challenge. The DEI and Philippines were steam rolled, but I did had a guadalcanal battle that almost sank zuikaku and shukaku. If they hadn't made it to Rabaul they would have been written off. And India was plenty of challenge, with lots of action around ...
