Only one disc?

<t> Hi all, I just ordered a copy of Gary Grigsby's World at War: A World Divided, and this, and both of them came with one disc only, though the cases seem to be made funny... either they're double cd cases, or they're just made differently from all others I've ever seen. So should they only have ...

RE: Any online activations?

Thanks guys. I've been milling about picking up some various matrix titles, and I've never bought anything from them before, so I like sounding out my options. It'd be boxed copies with me all the way, too. I like having the game on hand if I need it.

Any online activations?

<t> Just a quickie, does either this game or Crown of Glory utilize online activations? What with the growing rash of piracy, more companies seem to do that... but I refuse to buy something that limits my control over how many times I can install it. It's stealing from the customer, really. So, that ...

How are these?

I'm just curious, how are these games, and what games are actually included? I heard someone say 9, but the product descriptions only list 5.

First timer

<t> So, I'm a first timer, really... never played all that many wargames. My collection basically includes stuff like Panzer Tactics DS, Daisenryaku VII Exceed, Fantasy Wars (by 1C company, plays like Fantasy General), and that's about it. So now I'm interested in playing some civil war stuff, and I ...

RE: Serial Number suddenly a problem!

So... does this mean then that somehow the serial numbers are actually checked online or something?

RE: John Tiller games and Online Activation

<t> Okay, that's cool. Online activation is really getting to be a problem these days, I think... If we buy the game, we should have full access to it, not limited run. What if we want to play the game years down the road, and already installed it all of three times? It's pure crap. I understand ...

John Tiller games and Online Activation

<t> Hello everyone, I've just recently been looking at some of the John Tiller bundles, like Civil War, Campaign Series, and Napoleonic Battles, and was wondering if any of these products use online activations in order to play. I find it a huge deterrent to buying a game if there's a limit placed ...

Online Activations

<t> Alright, so here's an important question. I'm new to the whole wargaming scene, and was interested in trying a few things out... one of which being War Between the States, and maybe some of the John Tiller games. Since I don't like not having hard copies of a game, I'd be doing physical ...
