Its a known issue and Elliot is working on that.

Yes the effect is ‘colour banding’ to try to make a fluid gradient, but in Standard Rendering mode the gradient seems to loose alpha blending or something similar. Much like the old days where some games had to run on 16-bit colour depth, instead of 32-bit.

That is a general question that requires a more detailed approach. :)

-For exploration you cannot define which star types the AI needs to investigate first, if that’s what you mean.

So, does the range of the fuel tanker as shown in the design window indicate its maximum range as per carried fuel?
How can you gauge its effective range for the tanker in this case when it does its job refueling other assets in the fleet?

The latest 1.0.1.9 patch did not result in my laptop starting the game unfortunately. Just FYI.

Game version 1.0.1.8 refuses to start.
The splashscreen shows up, but then the game returns to desktop. Please see the attached files for more info.
No crashlog gets generated, just the Sessionlog.txt which Ive added alongside the dxdiag.

The beta ran fine on this system.

I am running the game on a 43” 4K monitor without issues as well.
I have disabled Windows DPI scaling.

I can either run the game in Full Screen to get more map in view or I can run the game in a window.
Both are fine on my end.

Is there a way to save specific planets?

I’ve run across many interesting rolls for planets and while I understand the draw of the game is the randomness, I do like to know if its possible to save certain planet rolls for later? Perhaps by copying certain gamefiles over to a safe folder ?
