Chaaaaaaaaaarge!!!!!

<r> Question for vet players regarding charge in detailed combat-<br/> Does it have serious side effects to charge an enemy routed brigade while in column formation (I mean Infantry vs Infantry)? Should I always try to charge him with my troops deployed in battleline? Always trying to do the latter,...

RE: modding some ideas

300 replacement troops per camp each turn is actually not that realistic I'm afraid, depleted units are realistic

RE: Another Question: Why Do Armies Sometimes Not Move?

RE: Big disappointment

Although I always play the CSA normally simply because I can identify with them struggling for independence I might be playing the Union next just to see if I can smash the rebels. I'm sure it can be done in FoF

Lee's successor

<t> When Marse Robert is killed on the field of battle, who should take command of the main army in the eastern theater? Did Lee ever make a personal choice on who should be his successor? RE: FoF AI

<t> Another point relating to this: I've noticed the AI will send vastly understrength units (brigades that have been badly mauled in previous battles, sometimes containing less then 1000 men) as the first wave of attack in detailed combat, while it has several full-strength units in the 2nd and 3rd...

RE: Another RR observation

<t> Me thinks its a great suggestion, actually I was always regretting that Raiders and Scout units (or cavalry in general) were incapable of destroying any R.R. lines (only block movements). Would be a very significant improvement if they could do so, f.e. the entire Mobile & Ohio RR was destro...
