the upcoming patch will have quite a few changes, but the most important is that it fixes the NW bug that occurs atm.
But I agree, an outstanding game that keeps growing on me day by day!

Thanks!

The new patch began as a bug-fixing patch, but since then has become a features and AI-improvement patch, plus we're nearing 50 new edited bios. Overall, it won't be a major patch -- like the 2007 patch I call our "omnibus patch" -- but it will be a substantial patch.

If the Union captures an unguarded CS city it does not GAIN any NW, it does however lose NW from losing that city again.

In my ongoing PBEM game, I took advantage of the fact that GIJIM had no GARRs in cities like Knoxville, went south and took over the city, impressing etc at will. I did however not gain any NW for taking the city. And when Grants men died and the army was ordered away, GIJIM marched back in and retook the city and gained NW for the city, while I lost NW for that city.

Hope that was clear enough, but not too sure as I'm too tired atm. If not good enough, just ask again [;)]

Thanks for the definition.

After revamping my forum search about a dozen times – I finally found a great thread started by Mad Russian and have learned much from it.

My problem with my search was that I had to first try and figure out what “NW” stood for.

Forgive me - I'm still learning this game. But then there is a lot here to learn.

Ah yes, sorry about that. After playing any game for some time I get so used to game terms that I keep using them even when the full word would be better.[:-]
If anyone else wonders about this;
NW=National Will.

Didn't mean to get this thread off topic. Sorry about that Krec.
Let me try to bring it back.

... terje439, And with all the "game terms" in this awesome game, it could take a while to learn them. but that is just one of the many reasons why this is the best game out there. It is so deep - even in terms used in it.

Krec, How did I do on bring it back to topic?
