RE: Taking Spain as Axis after France

<t> Maybe have an event when Madrid falls, that randomly between 3-8 partisan units spawn; one near each Spanish town not in the conquers control. Any extra spawns end up in a random conquer occupied hex near a town. This will take a couple of more turns to finish off Spain<br/>

RE: railroad question

I think bombing, using strategic bombers on "Town/City" hexes along a road and RR rout, will do what you're looking for more or less. Without a supply source hexes along the way, the RR hexes by them selves, don't extend a HQ's supply much further.

Stuck on Long Island

<r> I totally vegged and accidently landed a US army on Long Island with a long range amphibious transport. Now the unit is stuck, it can't cross back to the mainland and there are no ports on Long Island.<br/>

You should put a way to cross from Long Island to the mainland, like at the ...

RE: Problems With Malta

<t> Why not allow paratroopers to jump on units in single hexes, like Malta. Allow one round of ground combat. If the Para's fail to destroy the defenders, the Para's are considered pushed off into the sea or captured, either way the Para unit is eliminated. A harsh result for poor planning and ...

RE: New Supply rules

<t> I was thinking about this problem too.<br/>
<br/>
What if Engineer units could speed up repairing supply nodes, cites. Like with making fortifications, in set mode, if on a Supply Hex, would get "fix infrastructure" option. The action would repair the supply at 1.5 supply a turn rather than 1 ...

RE: Air bomber units too powerful

<t> How about a mechanism that makes bombing the same unit over and over less effective.<br/>
<br/>
After a unit is attacked by air or a bomber unit or maybe just tactical bombers, that unit for the rest of the turn acquires plus 1 air defence and it's accumulative. You bomb a unit the first time ...

What constitutes "abandon" in the 1939 Campaign

<t> From the notes for the 1.04 vers.<br/>
<br/>
"...if the British abandon any of Malta, Gibraltar or Cairo then their National Morale will fall by 500 points per turn. "<br/>
<br/>
So I can guess that moving the ground unit off the hex would count, even if you're not under attack or no enemy ...

Fortifications in forests.

<t> From what I understand, units in a forest hex or a fortification basicly get a +1 defence to their soft, hard and tank defence, along with up to 3 entrenchment. <br/>
<br/>
The question I have is, if you build a fortification in a forest hex, do you get +2 defence? Or is it pointless to build ...

RE: What's happening?

<t> Hey Kirk23, <br/>
As an idea that can be easily added to a mod, you could add one or two "static" defenses off the coast. These would be new units you create that are basically non moving battleship units, you place them in the scenario and they don't move, that also means they can't repair ...

I think if they bumped up the hard attack for some of the Tactical Bomber's like the Stuka it would make them more useful against tanks, which is historically were they made their biggest impact.

RE: What to do with them?

<t> I do find self propelled AT units have some use even in the campaign, you don't want a bunch of them just one or two. <br/>
<br/>
They run about 1/2 the cost of a tank with a similar hard attack (but less defense)so when needing a covering unit while bring up towed artillery or infantry on ...

<t> Troop Transport by sea, just move a ground unit next to a port Hex and when the unit has a move turn, you can load it onto a sea transport for 7PP.
