Can someone please explain to me what a "G" on a unit means? The manual says a lot about the colors and where you can see if a unit gets supply, but unfortunately I can't find the "G" there.

RE: Tacview link does not work

Change your region format setting in Windows from Finnish to English. There maybe a problem with the date data or some other piece of data send to tacview which causes the problem.

RE: About supply

Thanks. I wonder why the player is not given the possibility to see all his possible supply point locations. This info is very important when planning operations. For instance it would have saved me for restarting the scenario couple of times just because my units landed in a wrong place.

About supply

I'm playing the Cuba 62 scenario and was wondering how supply is handled in case of amphibious landings. As far as I understand it supply is not traced across sea hexes, which begs the question. How do I know if my units after having made an amphibious landing are able to receive supply?

I hope the prize is a cookie which I will then pass on to Hoth. That should make him happy while Guderian drives back north.

RE: AGS taking all AGC fuel

I get about 8000 bbls of fuel to AGC FSB and have enough trucks to move it (93 surplus trucks, 24 required), but all of it goes to the southern theater. This can't be right or I am totally missing something. The reassigned PG can't draw all fuel from it's "home" theater, right?

AGS taking all AGC fuel

<t> I have sent PG 2 to the southern theater and now every drop of fuel from the central theater goes to the southern which already has a surplus of over 30k. Central theater is dry and Hoth is not very happy. I have also moved PG 3 units before PG 2 so it should have priority if that makes any ...

RE: So who's happy with their purchase?

Very good game. Love the decisions and role playing elements. Only problem is that I know it's going to end in early 42 even though I'm not even two months in. I hope they extend the time period with an expansion. One for every additional year [:D]

RE: A couple questions...

<t> You know there is something new and exciting in the air when von Leeb sends you a letter, after you have stripped AGN from most of it's fuel to feed the beast in the south, and tells you that he is not responsible for the failure to capture Leningrad because his panzers simply don't have enough ...

Garrisons

<t> I have read the manual about garrisons and supply, but just want to make sure I got it right.<br/>
<br/>
So both minor and major garrisons are always in supply when in cities, right? Other units (rifle and tank divisions) will not be supplied in the city hex if the city is cutoff?<br/>

RE: Brigade Command

<t> Just make it so that the possibility to change posture of a single regiment for one turn is low even for good brigadiers. This way it does not compromise the great system we already have in place. This would also enhance the differences between bad and good brigadiers which just gives the player ...

Would it be possible to...

Assign a key to show and hide the smoke? Also it would be great to have the ability to show and hide the units. This would make it easier to inspect the map.

And while I'm at it. Great game.

RE: Brigade Command

This is my experience also.

I think brigade commanders should be able to have a chance to change the posture of a regiment or two depending on his command or leadership rating. In the same way that he can urge regiments.
