You could try the CMFB demo to get a general impression of the "CMx2" generation of Combat Mission. CMFB and CMRT are the only two CM that have tank riders for example.

There are problems with AMD drivers for Combat Mission. Rolling back to an older driver might help.

What is this new mode exactly?

Is it like in Falcon 4.0 (Allied Force) a real time campaign where you can login and do a scheduled mission on a "dedicated" server?

Or do I need to stock up on redbull and coffee?
