RE: Seeking Cover

Hi guys, I have always done what was suggested with the mortar teams. The 'seeking cover' is just a behaviour bug that I see every now and then.

RE: Seeking Cover

<t> Panzerlehr, you misunderstood-- you see, my mortar teams are always well behind the front lines. Many, many hundred meters. Always. <br/>

I get so frustrated with the endless "seeking cover" when, to my eyes, they are deployed very reasonably, that I ORDER THEM TO THEIR DEATHS by a ...

Updated CANames file

Hello,

Here is an 'updated' file with a better representation of Canadian Last Names.

It has a few Native names, and a good representative of French Canadian names.

Disorganized/Cohesion

Hi guys, On several loadout screens, I have encountered squads who are 'disorganized' and they cannot be substituted. What does this mean? What effects does this have on the squad's performance?

Also, what effect does the Cohesion have on a battle group on the strategic map?

RE: What is Next for MatrixGames?

Myth engine. That would be great.

What is CoH?

Is Men of War similar to CC in modelling the soldiers, or is it basically just a command and conquer style game?

RE: What is Next for MatrixGames?

<t> That looks impressive. However I am sure I am not alone in preferring the isometric/top down view as it gives a great overall picture of the battlefield. I always thought that Combat Mission and Squad Assault were too 'busy' for my tastes. Maybe I would just need to get used to the 3D view.<br ...

Don't Change cover/survivability

<t> Please do not change the difficulty in spotting sneaking/ambushing etc infantry. Some players grumble, but this makes the game much better to play.<br/>
<br/>
There is nothing more unrealistic (and deflating!) than spotting crawling enemies from 100 plus meters away as in the older CC games ...

What is Next for MatrixGames?

What, if any, Close Combat version is set to be made next? Any news or tidbits that can be released?

I think that a pacific war CC is long overdue, and the night fights with flare would be great.

<t> I get you Senior Drill. I knew you were being a bit tongue in cheek. BUT the thing to remember is that French Canadians are not a small minority relegated to the province of Quebec. RE: First Impression

<t> I am not aware if our government prevented native Canadians from entering the armed forces or segregated them as a group. I assume that there were native Canucks in the army back then. I know that the Americans segregated black people from the 'regular' army. Don't know if we did the same with ...
