Changed txt name file. Compatability?

I changed the CAnames txt file to have more french canadian names. Will this affect multiplayer????

No, it will not effect multiplayer to replace the existing file with your new one. The new file will only be used when new Canadian units are created at the start of a turn. Those already on board in a saved operation or campaign have had the team's names written to file and will not change. New battle groups, replacements to a damaged team and teams selected from the force pool will use the new file.
