RE: Close Combat - Wacht am Rhein Gets an Update

THANK YOU!

The road to this patch has been more convoluted than the path taken by Kampfgruppe Peiper.

RE: With all due respect..................

So, what's the word Matrix?  Are we going to see the patch?  It seems hard to believe that it takes 2 weeks to correct a menu problem.

RE: With all due respect..................

<t> Chris,<br/>
<br/>
That's fine, we can agree to disagree. I'll agree that Matrix has limitted resources however they focused their resources on a yet to be released game instead of supporting the folks that has already purchased a product from them. They could have either focused their ...

RE: With all due respect..................

<t> Sure:&nbsp; In another thread Erik Rutkins said "Sorry guys, we are simply not going to make it this week. The COG: EE release took too many resources."<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
He then goes on to say that it would be a priority this week but given the fact that nothing has materialised and there has ...

RE: With all due respect..................

<t> Yes, the patch is starting to look VERY much like Vaporware [:@]&nbsp; There is more fog surrounding its release than the first day of the battle it is supposed to depict!&nbsp; Of course since Matrix already has our $$ our priority is less than new sales so we get back-burnered.&nbsp; I can ...

RE: Is there a Campaign Game?

<t> Thanks Michael/Svend, <br/>
<br/>
I was headed downt the editted file appoach to lower the thrown track problem when I hit the empty battlegroup bug. If the patch ever comes out to fix that I may try that approach again. It might fix the problem with the AI Campain with the German offensive ...

RE: Is there a Campaign Game?

<t> Well its certainly been true for me.&nbsp; The German tanks being disabled by loosing their tracks going cross country was the first problem. The first campaign i started was seemingly way to easy in some points.&nbsp; I thought I was just getting lucky so I started over&nbsp;and paid more ...

RE: Is there a Campaign Game?

<t> Do please be aware that the campaign game is currently unplayable as the Alies right now between the AI loosing tracks and more importantly the empty battlegroup bug. These items are rumored to be fixed in a patch if Matrix ever gets around to releasing it. I'd wait till it comes out before ...

Missing from the Download section.......The Patch?
&nbsp;
If Matrix holds to their "No patches on Friday...." then we are out of luck for another week.&nbsp; Hmmm Maybe they should only accept orders Monday-Thurs?

RE: With all due respect..................

Perhaps Andrew, if it is not too much trouble, you could check with them tomorrow and provide us with an update on when we might expect to see the patch?

thanks,

Kevin

RE: Can be the crash tracks on vehicles removed on next patch?

<t> Andrew, sarcasim does not become you, nor does it gain you points in customer service.&nbsp; However since you asked I will venture my opinion.&nbsp; I am not sure exactly how much time is required for a game patch it depends on the complexity of the fixes.&nbsp; The complexity of the fixes does ...

RE: Can be the crash tracks on vehicles removed on next patch?

<t> The lack of support from the developer on this forum is&nbsp;really making me regret my purchase of this program.&nbsp; 2 months after purchasing it, I&nbsp;STILL cannot run a&nbsp;campaign as the&nbsp;Americans due to the Track problem and empty battlegroup bug.&nbsp; I've asked for updates on ...

RE: Godly Mortars

I would believe that the decline of open topped AFV's was more due to the effects of Proximity fused air burst artillery than the extreemly unlikely event of a mortar round landing inside an open top APC.

Thanks Andrew, I'm not asking you to release an untested patch, just keep us informed on its progress.&nbsp; A posting Mon / Fri on the status would help folks keep up to date.

thanks,

RE: Can be the crash tracks on vehicles removed on next patch?

<t> Hello?&nbsp; Is this game still supported? Bump 2

Any news on when the patch to help fix this and the empty battlegroup bug will be available to members? Some info would be nice.
